IMPORTANT information for all our Patients:

(Effective from Monday 31st of January 2022)

Starting from Monday 31st of January 2022, for an initial period of 8 weeks until Monday 28th of March 2022, the clinic's premises and operations at Suite 2, 80 Cecil Avenue, Castle Hill, will be closed and we will not be seeing patients for consultations nor be supplying over the counter supplements.

​

HOWEVER, we will continue to book appointments and provide patients with full, professional Naturopathic consultations, just as we have done for several decades, OVER THE TELEPHONE or via zoom instead. 

Our patients' natural supplements will continue to remain fully available for online or over the phone ordering and will be sent out using Australia Post Overnight Express delivery.

We have had to make these changes to our clinic's operations because of recent amendments to the Public Health (COVID-19 Vaccination of Health Care Workers) Order (No 3) 2021. This order has just recently been extended to require all GPs, Pharmacists, Speech Pathologists, Naturopaths and other health care professionals in private practice to have had at least one covid-19 vaccination by 31st January 2022. We have chosen not to be vaccinated.

We don't know at the moment when or whether this order will be repealed and therefore how soon before we can return to face to face consultations in Cecil Avenue, Castle Hill. We have chosen pausing in-clinic visits for 8 weeks but the situation will be monitored and if appropriate changed as events progress. This order will affects a large number of practitioners, nurses and other support staff as well as many who rely on their care. We prefer to trust that reason will prevail and mandated restrictions will ease as the current circumstances improve and life tries to go back to normal.

The most obvious difference between the "in-clinic" and the "telephone consultation", apart from obviously not being in the same room, is that during a telephone or video consultation we are currently not capable of using iridology clearly enough to help us with that diagnostic aspect. However, considering that not many naturopaths use this method of diagnostics anyway and that we have extensive professional experience in assisting patients achieve very successful outcomes, this is not expected to be a hindrance that can not be managed. Where required, the patient's self-photography of the eyes will assist us as well as other types of laboratory tests that we can refer patients to, if desirable.

The supplements which our patients normally pick up during their visits or at other times directly from the front counter, from Monday 31st of January onward will instead be mailed to their address via Australia Post Overnight Express mail. Therefore, you will continue to be able to order your supplements directly online at our web site whenever you require them. Your supplements will then be dispatched to you - they will not be able to be collected at the clinic. Patients have already been ordering online for many years and have found this to be straight forward and the Overnight Express delivery service, economical and usually fast.

Patients who have already booked consultations for 2022 up to our closing hour on Saturday 29th January, will still be able to attend their normal in-clinic consultations at their currently booked times at Castle Hill. Patients who have booked consultations for or after Monday 31st of January 2022, will be contacted soon by Henriette to change their usual "in-clinic" appointment to a "telephone consultation" instead.

There are always advantages to be found with most changes, as inconvenient as they may appear at first. The obvious advantages with a telephone consultation is there is no travel involved and therefore no rushing, no time and expense to and back from the clinic, no parking problems, no waiting rooms (also no masks and QRs) and also lesser exposure to unfriendly microbes along the way. The Telehealth system of doctors visits has been used in Australia in excess of 80 million times over the past two years and the majority of doctors as well as the government have indicated their preference for the system to remain available for use. Many naturopaths have expressed similar opinions about telephone consultations. Many patients have also found it very convenient and just as effective.

The major disadvantage however will be not being able to practice Myorthotics. We hope, for the benefit of those patients who have found Myorthotics to be the best form of neuro-muscular help they have ever experienced, that these face to face consultations restrictions will soon be lifted.

​

We strongly encourage everyone who has experienced the benefits of holistic health or who are working towards this, to continue their great journey. This is probably more essential now than ever before. We are here, even more deeply passionate and ready to continue providing our care for everyone who chooses this way.
